In the past I have been ushered out by Dm's for lingering in the beginning area. An OOC Room I honestly think would benefit more if we had a much larger player base. I played on a Server that had one back in the day and it was a way to unwind and helped from not getting burned out Icly. PC's who may not cross paths IC, got a chance to chop it up and talk as Avatars. There was an Arena where you could just fart around and fight. Win loss or draw we had fun. Sometimes on this Server I feel like we are being forced to RP and it gets rammed down our throats. Sometimes we just need to unwind.

unfortunately thats simply not what we want on amia. You are to be ic at all times. the entry/travel agency are more a means to an end then an example

we have discord for unwinding. and we dont really endorse ooc pvp

Yeah, I would discourage any OOC Room, personally.

Amia is a roleplay server, not a social server. Roleplay will be jammed down your throat, but we cannot force you to roleplay your character. But on that not I assure you won't have many people hanging around if your all "lol bro I had such a garbage day at work, but it worked out cuz I got this hot chick's number after I changed her oil lolololololololol"

There are social servers for this reason. To be social. If you need to be ooc to unwind, that's cool. I personally like to shut my brain off of real world and go chill in fantasy world for a little bit. Punch fantasy bosses, not RL ones.
