Durring the day of 29th Flamerule, a Squad of soldiers who just apprehended a person who was imitating being an official helmite southport guard (proven to be fake) was attacked from above. The creature attacked and wounded multiple of the squad, before abducting one of our mages, and freeing the apprehended person, taking them both away.

The creature is described to be about the size of a horse, resembling a griffon in body, black feathers and eyes of fury and death. It is assumed at this point it is some form of corrupted/perverted version of a griffon or a shadow being masking as one. We however unsure as it happened fast, Reports are the creature was hurt during it leaving by magic and arrows. It was last seen heading northwards from our city. It is presumed to be working with the group that is behind the corrupted helmite attack that caused the death of many including the former king, due to it rescuing another fake helmite guard.

The mage, Sargent Cleft Goodman, a veteran of the Arcanum wars, was only recently reinstated after deciding to serve the city once more. We wish to find Goodman, or at least know his fate to give him honors. His wife Ellisa Goodman and two sons, Blake & Jonny Goodman miss him dearly. While painfull to note, his sons insist we do, and we respect their wishes: They pledge to grant their magical teddy bear to whomever brings back their Father
