Returning after a few years away from the server! I've been enjoying playing my level 17 druid recently because I like the utility of casting spells, having a companion, and using the elemental forms for combat. However, I'm thinking of switching from Elf to Gnome for RP purposes and to max on CON, WIS, and INT. I'd like to make more of a casting/shifting druid than anything else and am also hoping to go for Autoquicken III, since druids do not have haste.
Planning on 28 druid to get the autoquickens for levels 1-9, monk for the discipline dump and extra attacks while in elemental form, and rogue for UMD and other skill points.
Questions:
- Do the monk's extra unarmed attacks apply for elemental/wild shapes?
- Am I allowed to make him a forest gnome or are they too rare and reclusive/will that have to be approved by a DM?
- Are ESF in conj and evoc worth it if I'm going to be in and out of shifting?
This is what I'm thinking and I'd be grateful for any feedback! Cheers.

Re: Gnome druid build help
I don't think you get UMD with that build.
If it's raining, look for Rainbows.
If it's dark, look for stars!

Re: Gnome druid build help
You cannot take an Epic Spell focus on a non-Caster Level iirc.
Also, if you take Epic Dragon Knight on level 21, you will have to deal with the fact that it only lasts Rounds/Level until you pick up ESF: Conjuration

This one's to the mighty sea, mischief, gold and piracy!~
Re: Gnome druid build help
Ah, okay thanks. I'll have to switch around the Epic feats then, and I think I accidentally kept a bonus feat for Ranger level 1 in there at 29... So, not sure if having 2 extra attacks while shifted is worth losing 2 AC or not. I'm thinking the attacks will be handy.Freaxxshow wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 2:44 pm You cannot take an Epic Spell focus on a non-Caster Level iirc.
