Re: Monkey Grip with a Quarterstaff?
That's fine. So I can monkey grip a regular quarterstaff, but not a caster's staff which strictly needs two hands, no MG.
That sound about right?

Monkey Grip with a Quarterstaff?
Momma, my half-orc cleric of Gruumsh, uses a great axe. And she has learned how to use it with a shield, aka Monkey Grip. My original thought was she would be the executioner of the sacrifices for Gruumsh, which she did when she first appeared. Momma even found a nice axe called the Executioner's Ax...

DC weapon question
In the DC Item catalog for a two-handed weapon it states: "Two Handed Weapons +5 Enhancement 2d6 Elemental or Sonic Damage Damage Keen 2d6 Massive Critical Any Strong or Moderate OnHit, DC 20, 2 rounds / 50% = 52DCs" But warforged great axe has 3d6 Massive Critical. Is 2d6 the highest a DC...

Re: DM Praise Thread
Props to Arcane Crusader for turning what was a mundane boss run into a truly epic battle. I was literally falling asleep in the middle of a Snow Beast run when strange, not-normal things started happening. Culminating with a titanic battle that left one Ilmaterii paladin battered and bruised, but l...

Re: Amia's New Trends
As primarily a boss hunter for most of my years on Amia I worked my arse off obtaining the best "epic" equipment. So when they raised the drop rate from 5 to 25 percent I thought I would hate it because what I worked so long and hard for would be cheapened. Someone in weeks or months would...

Re: The Half-and-Half Paladin
Kind of. In 1.69 Aasimar was definitely superior for ability stats. In EE, I am actually changing the build from Fighter to Field Medicus so P/23, FM/5, R/2. Strength and charisma will be the same. Losing some damage because of dropping weapon specialization and epic weapon spec. And to replace the ...

The Half-and-Half Paladin
NOTE to the reader: I posted this almost seven years ago. Hard to believe time flies that fast. But I think the post is as relevant today as it was back then. There have been a few changes and adds as I've tweaked the build through the years and with EE the subraces have changed. But without further...
