I, spectacularly, burned out.

To no one's surprise, playing my lizard takes a huge amount of energy, and the three things that keep me going are not present at the moment, so I was starting to run on fumes. I might drop back eventually, when my interest is drawn in once more.

The DMs will sort that out with you when (if) you rebuild.
That's part of their job as keepers of the timeline and bane of plot holes.

And by the by, don't rebuild without getting the approval of the DMs first!
