Dove, if she could change a single thing, would make it so elves never lost whatever connection they'd had to Eldath (the lost and very, very, very destroyed city of Myth Ondath that Dove knows nothing about) that the example might temper the elven spirit enough to mend her people.

I could go for a soundtrack too, but, sitting at around when most elves would consider the start of middle age, she's probably best expressed as the tension between two songs.
