Re: DM Praise Thread
Thank you to Xantham, for allowing me to wrap up the Twisting Witch's narrative in a fitting way during his event.

Re: The Wave & Serpent Guild-Home
Its not a surprise, but I agree with the original poster. The Wave & Serpent isn't the problem, and it didn't kill local roleplay. It only revealed what is already there: Amia is mostly empty and players are drawn to where there is other players. Amia is a big server. It was mostly built 12 - 16...

Re: [Alternate Beginnings - Shadovar in the Umbral Night]
Much as I'm not interested in making a Shadovar, I'll be keeping an eye out for said pests.
I'm keen to see alternate takes on illusionists and the ideas you lot come up with.

Re: Roleplay Praise Thread
I've been feeling the departure of my fellow Australian Underdarkers more then most, however there are a few people to thank of late who have had good interactions with Jhaeliria aka The Twisting Witch. Kiin'Killin Vilrath and Wilvraen Vilrath: Two fellow Vilraths. I don't get the opportunity to see...

I've used it. Goes alright.
I'm quite famous for my crappy internet though, which is a problem when I'm hosting.

Re: The Players/Characters you miss having around
I only got to RP with Galenson on Jhaeliria once and I was on the wrong character and I am thoroughly upset about it probably the most intricate and cool scene setting that’s ever been RP’d for me! I hope to see you around my Wizard someday because that was the real shit 👌 come back, Twisting Witch...

Re: Positive Opinion of the Players Characters Before You 2.0
Despite both of us having been around for quite some time, I can't say that I've ever been in a position to really RP one on one with any of Jingle's characters. Different players with different characters with different paths that rarely converge. I haven't had to kill any of them yet though. That'...

Re: The Good Vibes Thread
I wish I was more consistent with my performance of Jhaeliria: some days the train has no brakes, other days the train doesn't move. Those characters who bring the best potential out of her and get to see me at peak performance are good vibes. The mage rivalry between Jhaeliria and Naltyrr in partic...

Re: Positive Opinion of the Players Characters Before You 2.0
Barrililath... Several noteworthy pros: * It's not the hardest Drow name to spell that I've seen. * Has demonstrated a significant level of character development and growth in the last 12 months. Where at first she was an ill-tempered piece of work that fit in a round hole as easily as a square peg,...

Re: Positive Opinion of the Players Characters Before You 2.0
I've never been in the right position (or character) to interact directly with E'milliah. But I was never disappointed in what I've observed.
Here's hoping an opportunity may rise in the future.

Re: Amia's New Trends
My comment wasn't directed at anyone in particular, more just an expression of my own internal thoughts on the subject and the trend. Nor would I call it alarmist: Its an opinion that has developed over years rather then months. As I said: I'm a fossil in Amia's terms. "Yesterday's player, behi...

Re: Amia's New Trends
Amia's heading down a more action-orientated server direction. And it doesn't hide the fact. That trend is influenced by the fact that Amia:EE is still in its beta stage, so the focus is a functional server and not its world at this time. Additional influence also comes from the current generation o...

Re: Roleplay Praise Thread
Seeing how I was name dropped... I'm going to be honest: playing an illusionist has been one of the greatest challenges I've ever conducted in this hobby. Due to the NWN limitations (this is not to insult the dev work done to try and make up for that), I'm mechanically limited at only being able to ...

Re: Drow Palemaster Build
It would be so much easier if Donkey wasn't colour blind...
...and if NWN actually allowed palemasters to accrue spell levels and caster levels like they're supposed to.
